The Positive and Negative Duct Leakage Testing rig is a specialized piece of equipment used for testing ductwork in buildings. It can test both positive and negative pressure systems, making it a versatile tool for a range of applications. One of the key benefits of this rig is that it can help identify leaks in ductwork, which can lead to significant energy savings when addressed.
This testing rig is compliant with several standards, including EN13779, EN12237, HVCA DW/143, EUROVENT 2/2, and SMACNA. It has an accuracy of ± 2.5% of volume flow, making it a reliable tool for testing ductwork.
The PAN341 model comes with the Airflow TA465-P Multi-Function Instrument and PVM610 Micromanometer. It has a unique performance and fan speed control, which charges up the duct system to test static pressure within minutes. It can be easily transported, fitting in the back of vans and estate cars, and has a carry weight of 45 kg (99 lbs).
This rig is equipped with several features, including simultaneous displays of flow leakage rate and static pressure, pass/fail indication for a given tightness class, automatic calculation of leakage rate in real-time, automatic correction of actual volume flow leakage rate to Standard Temperature and Pressure (STP), and monitoring of barometric pressure and temperature in real-time. It can store data that can be downloaded for report generation and documentation and works with the Model 8934 Portable Printer.
