The VelociCalc 5725 is a portable air velocity and temperature meter that can accurately measure air velocity and temperature, calculate flow rate, and perform averaging, as well as determine minimum and maximum readings. Its sweep mode allows for quick averaged readings of velocity or volume over a large measurement area, and its large vane head automatically averages velocity and volume readings. The VelociCalc 5725 also includes variable time constant, sampling and statistics functions, and data logging capability.
The VelociCalc 5725 has many applications, including heating and cooling coil analysis, diffuser and grille measurements, fume hood face velocity tests, indoor air quality tests, and filter face velocity measurements. The included items are the instrument with a 100-mm vane, a carrying case, alkaline batteries, an operation and service manual, a USB cable with LogDat2™ Downloading Software, and a calibration certificate.
